Otaru City, Hokkaido, announced on the 2nd that two people, a man in his 60s and a man in his 80s, were newly infected with the new coronavirus.
According to the city, the two are both involved in snacks with outbreaks.
The total number of infected people in Hokkaido is now 1269.
