The new coronavirus is still in circulation, but the decline is continuing in France. According to the Directorate General of Health's daily report, 14 new deaths linked to Covid-19 have been recorded in hospitals in the last 24 hours. The day before, 18 new deaths had been recorded.

This brings the total number of deaths since the start of the epidemic to 29,875, including 10,497 deaths. 74% of these seriously ill patients are treated in four regions: Ile-de-France, Grand-Est, Hauts-de-France and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. If "the circulation of the virus in Guyana remains worrying", "on the rest of the national territory, the epidemiological situation is stable", specifies the general direction of Health.
Foci continue to appear on the territory. There are thus 307 grouped cases registered since May 9, including 4 new in the last 24 hours, but 181 are closed.
