This brings the total number of deaths since the start of the epidemic to 29,875, including 10,497 deaths. Hospitalizations are also on the decline since healthcare establishments account for 188 fewer patients compared to the previous day, they are still still 8,148 hospitalized, including 573 in intensive care, or nine fewer.

74% of these seriously ill patients are treated in four regions: Ile-de-France, Grand-Est, Hauts-de-France and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. If "the circulation of the virus in Guyana remains worrying", "on the rest of the national territory, the epidemiological situation is stable", specifies the general direction of Health.

Foci continue to appear on the territory. There are thus 307 grouped cases registered since May 9, including 4 new in the last 24 hours, but 181 are closed.
