July 1, 1925 was born a theater and film actress, People's Artist of the USSR Klara Luchko. Mentor Luchko, the legendary Sergey Gerasimov, once christened her "Turgenev heroine." The actress happened to try on different roles. Among the most memorable paintings with the participation of Klara Luchko are “Twelfth Night”, “Kuban Cossacks”, “Gypsy” and “Carnival”. The actress starred in Alexander Dovzhenko, Ivan Pyryev, Stanislav Rostotsky and other legendary directors. In the 1990s, she hosted two television shows. Klara Luchko died on March 26, 2005 at the age of 79.
