The program is designed to help native Canadian women who are leaders in their fields expand their reach and be heard. The Coady Institute will thus be able to "extend its programs across the country for women leaders of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit, in their communities as well as on the campus of St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia".
