The Tomei Expressway descends and is partially closed in Shizuoka City.

Due to a vehicle fire, the Tomei Expressway is closed at 11:17 am on the down line between the Shimizu Interchange in Shizuoka City and the Hiranuyama Japan Smart Interchange in Japan.
