The Shanghai-Sutong Express Railway Yangtze River Bridge is a control project for the entire Shanghai-Sutong Railway. It is connected to Nantong City and Zhangjiagang City in Jiangsu Province. The main bridge is designed with a twin-tower cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 1092 meters. The construction of the bridge started in March 2014. After the builders struggled day and night to overcome difficulties, they successfully applied a series of new materials, new technologies and new equipment to make it stand on the Yangtze River. When the Shanghai-Sutong Express Railway Yangtze River Bridge is about to open to traffic, a set of pictures will show you the history of the bridge construction. The picture shows that on January 25, 2018, the HTQ-1 section of the Shanghai-Sutong Express Railway Yangtze River Bridge was accurately paved to complete the last railway channel beam.
