The images are as surprising as they are soothing. On Saturday, boaters had the chance to see a whale strolling off Paimpol, in the Côtes d'Armor. While on a boat trip in the Port-Lazo sector of Plouézec, two families spent 45 minutes watching a whale a few meters from their boat. “My son saw a geyser. We smiled. Seeing seals, porpoises is rare! But a whale is extraordinary, ”testified Denys Pasquet to France 3 Bretagne.

Accustomed to the place, boaters were going to practice underwater fishing when they were surprised to see the geyser of water spit out by the whale, Saturday around 6 p.m. On their return to shore, the boaters had to show their images to be believed, reports Ouest-France .

With confinement, several striking observations have been made off the Brittany coast in recent weeks. A basking shark had invited itself in the port of Brest and a porbeagle shark has been seen by a fisherman in recent weeks. "This proves that the region is full of fish," say the scientists.
