I have drawn the plan of my house and the streets that contain it.

I have made maps to locate the impossible window.

I've circled my block to spot it from the street. I have not found it.

Nor do the floors that peek behind the glass. No clue to hold on to.

If no one has ever seen that window from anywhere, does it exist?

Written in full confinement, the actor Paco Gámez captured in these lines the thoughts that assaulted him when he looked out his window during the months of confinement. It did so within the initiative of La Ventana of the CDN that the National Dramatic Center launched months ago.

Pulling that thread, the virtual platform through which they have continued to take the pulse of the public now proposes a streaming program , made up of three productions of original creation. The trilogy, broken down into The Shock , The Distance and The Uncertainty , gathers three different views of the pandemic. Three visions directed by Alfredo Sanzol, Andrea Jiménez and Noemi Rodríguez and Pablo Remón that feed each other. To claim the talent of the performing profession, they will be broadcast live at 20:00 on three consecutive Fridays. On June 26 it will be from the María Guerrero Theater, on July 3 from the Valle-Inclán Theater and on July 10, again, from the María Guerrero.

A similar initiative will be carried out by the Spanish Theater , which will also offer the fourth edition of its streaming Drama Tournament . The competition, structured into eight expressly written works that face each other in two-by-two battles until deciding who wins, can be followed on YouTube from July 1 to 15, thus giving the public the option of choosing with their virtual vote to winner of the tournament.

The Lliure Theater has also adapted its programming and strategy. Wielding the hashtag #TheShowMustGoOn, several theatrical pieces have sneaked into viewers' lounges via YouTube over the past few months, while, from La Abadía, the hashtag #TeatroConfinado now includes a "(des)" between both terms . "The initiative arose as an invitation to continue enjoying the performing arts in quarantine live and direct, with a small congregation of curious theatricians who do not give up continuing to get excited with the old ancestral rite of listening to stories," they say from the theater.

According to his calculations, to date, 80 performances have been performed and 2,500 people have already seen one of his ten repertoire shows. With passes of up to 20 spectators at a price of five euros issued through the Zoom digital platform, interpreters such as Israel Elejalde, Irene Escolar or Luis Bermejo have been some of the well-known faces that, in prose and also in verse, have alleviated the consumption of confinement.
