Instead of talking about the famous adage "that looks alike comes together", we are going to focus on the one that says "love has no color, no smell, and no borders".

Publicity

Let's talk about love and mixed couples. In France, this represents 14% of mixed unions, i.e. one out of four unions that is contracted between a French person and a foreigner, according to the latest figures from the National Institute of Statistics. and economic studies (Insee).

However, mixed marriages are not obvious and sometimes encounter many obstacles. Cultural differences, religion, outside views, racism, language barrier, pressure from the family can constitute as many obstacles to the union between two people of different nationalities, and as many subjects of conflicts within the couple.

Love in all its colors is a wealth, but in practice, is it always evident on a daily basis? We met a fulfilled couple who learned to compromise.
Origin, nationality, culture, social background, religion: on paper, they had nothing in common. Is the "battle" to preserve a couple more difficult in a mixed couple? How is this pluralism enriching? How to reassure families, sometimes reluctant to the idea of seeing their children engage in a mixed couple?
