"An incredible adventure"

Simone Veil, survivor of the Shoah, marked French political life in particular thanks to her fight for the adoption of the law authorizing the voluntary termination of pregnancy (IVG), which took place in 1975.

Simone, the voyage of the century should be released in theaters in 2021, "in about eight months", according to Elsa Zylberstein. Simone Veil's life had already been the subject of a short film in 2006 with Marina Foïs and a television film, in 2014, with Emmanuelle Devos. For Elsa Zylberstein, this film has already marked her career. "It was an incredible adventure and a challenge," she says.

In this highly anticipated film, Elsa Zylberstein will play alongside Olivier Gourmet, Philippe Torreton and Sylvie Testud. Some are already predicting a masterpiece for this third biopic by Olivier Dahan dedicated to a significant female figure in history. In 2007, Olivier Dahan had directed La Môme  on Edith Piaf with Marion Cotillard and in 2014, Grace de Monaco , dedicated to Grace Kelly, embodied by Nicole Kidman.
