On June 26th, Sotheby’s Hong Kong presented a key exhibit that will be auctioned in the spring auction in 2020, namely, the flamboyant and holly-flavored laminated bottle on the bright red ground in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, with an estimated value of 70 million to 90 million Hong Kong dollars.

Experts from Sotheby's Hong Kong said that the bottle is very delicate, complicated to make and very difficult to burn. In the production process, the drawing techniques of ancient bronze, pre-Qin jade, Longquan celadon, and Xuande blue and white were combined, and Western Rococo brocade clusters were added. The exquisite and meticulous mezzanine bottle is extremely difficult to keep. Reading the patterns on it is like walking around the palace.
