To detect cases of asymptomatic Covid-19 contamination and break the transmission chains, France wants to speed up the tests. A test campaign will be tested in Île-de-France, with municipalities selected on three criteria: the social level, the positivity rate of the virus, and the population's demand for testing.

France now wants to speed up tests to fight the coronavirus. Screening will be "systematic in certain risk areas", announced Olivier Véran on Thursday. The Minister of Health is launching a "very large-scale" campaign to get the maximum number of people in these regions to open the doors of the laboratories. Health authorities want to identify cities near known outbreaks of infection and invite all residents to get tested.
