For his part, the former adviser to the Supreme Council of the State of Libya Ashraf Al-Shah said that over the past two years, European and international declarations and demands regarding the cease-fire and the return to the political process have taken place, and the main objective of these declarations and demands is to save Haftar and his project, and that the Egypt declaration is pouring in the same direction.

He continued that after Haftar's forces repulsed their attack on Tripoli and provided the forces of the National Accord government, I began to search for methods surrounding the reconciliation government, so I resorted to bringing mercenaries to the oil fields located in the southwest of Libya, and the goal of this siege is to force the reconciliation government to sit at the negotiating table.
