Gunma prefecture has a policy to newly establish an ordinance to provide legal advice to identify the perpetrators as well as to care for the victims in the midst of the problem of open slander on SNS.

Regarding the slandering slander on SNS, it seems that a professional wrestler woman who appeared on a commercial program that records a communal life suffered suicide by struggling to commit a series of posts blaming the behavior in the program. It has become a social problem.

Against this backdrop, Gunma Prefecture has decided to enact a new ordinance within the current fiscal year to assist victims and stop malicious posting.

Under the ordinance, the prefecture will establish a free consultation service for victims, and a specialist lawyer will investigate the actual condition of the damage, delete posts, and provide legal advice for identifying the perpetrators. Etc. is a policy to determine.

It also positions the care of the victim's mind as an important item, and will work on support measures to introduce clinical psychologists and public health nurses.

The prefecture will decide to discuss this at a study meeting with experts from next month to enact this ordinance this year.

According to the prefecture, if such an ordinance is enacted, it will be the first prefectural ordinance in Japan.

Governor Gunma Prefecture's Governor Yamata said, "The slandering damage on the Internet will remain semi-permanently, and not only the victims, but the perpetrators will be irreversible. I want to do it."
