"I sent a few trucks with meals and coffee for everyone in line!" Use your voice today. We need you, ”wrote the star on Twitter, relaying a post from the Black Voters Matter account on which we can see a group with their fists raised.

Strategic state

Two states voted Tuesday: New York and Kentucky. The latter has been at the heart of the news for several weeks. It was in Louisville that Breonna Taylor was notably killed. Clashes between protesters and law enforcement had also taken place in the city following the death of George Floyd.

Residents should have voted on May 19, but officials decided to postpone the polls due to the coronavirus pandemic. Voters must elect their delegates for the November presidential election. Donald Trump, on the other hand, deemed the postponements "useless".
