Overtime work of 13 public health center workers Overwork death line Aomori Corona June 24 15:00

While health centers in various regions are busy responding to the new coronavirus, at the health centers in Aomori prefecture, after March, it has been confirmed that an infected person has been identified. We found out that there were 13 staff members who visited the prefecture.

In Aomori Prefecture, 27 people have been confirmed to have been infected with the new coronavirus since March this year. At public health centers, staff members are working to confirm the patient's behavior history and respond to consultations from citizens.

When NHK interviewed Aomori Prefecture and Aomori City, which are in charge of public health centers, and Hachinohe City, the employees who worked overtime over 100 hours a month, which is a so-called "overwork death line", were from March to last month. I found that there were 13 people in total.

The breakdown is 8 people at Aomori City Public Health Center, 4 people at Hachinohe City Public Health Center, and 1 person at Goshogawara Public Health Center, some of whom have overtime work of 146 hours per month and 100 employees for two consecutive months. It means that some staff members were over time.

It is said that none of the 13 people have complained of poor physical condition, but at each public health center, we have introduced a drive-through PCR test, increased the number of public health nurses, etc. It means that measures are being taken so that the burden is not concentrated.
