In this stratum, the largest herbivorous dinosaur in Japan and fossils of "Tanba Ryu" have been found one after another, and the fossils of eggs are named after Mr. Shigeru Murakami, the discoverer of "Tanba Ryu".・It was named "Murakami".

This time, one of the other egg fossils found was identified as a new species and was named "Subtiliorissus leopardensis".

According to the research group, there are six types of dinosaur egg fossils found in this formation, making it the region with the most types of egg fossils found in the world.
