According to the Izvestia newspaper, citing the agency’s website, visitors and library staff should be wearing medical masks, while the institution’s employees should be provided with a supply of personal protective equipment based on the calculation of changing masks and gloves at least once every three hours.

In this case, books and magazines after returning should be stored in special boxes in a separate library room.

“Reuse of returned books and magazines is carried out in five days,” the department noted.

Libraries were also advised to refuse to hold public events, and to keep a social distance in reading rooms.

Earlier, the 360 ​​television channel reported that from June 1, the issuance of books was resumed in the libraries of the Moscow Region.
