Toulouse and its region have so far been relatively spared from the Covid-19 pandemic. But the virus continues to circulate, even weakly, in the region. In a joint statement, the prefecture of Haute-Garonne and the Regional Health Agency (ARS) Occitanie thus indicate on Tuesday that two agents of the Municipal Credit of the Pink City have tested positive for coronavirus, "after having manifested the symptoms ".
The contamination would come from a family member of one of the two patients. After an investigation by the ARS to identify the contact cases, "19 agents are currently in solitary confinement for a period of 14 days," the press release said. Crédit Municipal de Toulouse indicates on its website that it is closed “until July 3, 2020”, “due to the health context”.
Customers not exposed according to authorities
The authorities want to be reassuring for customers who have recently visited the premises. These people would not have been exposed to the virus "thanks to the barrier measures implemented in the establishment".
