Presenter Denis Brogniart announced Saturday that he had decided to leave Automoto, the popular and oldest show on TF1 that he has hosted since 2012, giving way to Jean-Pierre Gagick. He will however continue to host "Koh-Lanta", "Ninja Warrior" and "District Z", Arthur's brand new show.

Denis Brogniart's calendar was finally too busy to continue the adventure. The presenter of Koh-Lanta confirmed this Saturday that he would no longer present the Automoto program, broadcast on Sunday morning on TF1. He said on his Twitter account that this decision had been taken "in agreement with" the chain and that he would leave at the end of the season, on July 12.

Friends, I decided in agreement with @ TF1 to leave the presentation of @ automoto_TF1 at the end of this season on July 12, before passing the torch to Jean Pierre Gagick @jpgagick. I will find you on @ KohLantaTF1 @ NinjaWarriorTF1 @ DistrictZ and Sport Events pic.twitter.com/WtV6knb8yj

"It was time for me to pass the torch"

Host of the oldest program of the first French channel for eight years, Denis Brogniart is giving way to his replacement Jean-Pierre Gagick, already often on screen lately. "It was time for me to pass the torch to Jean-Pierre Gagick who very often replaced me during my absences for Koh-Lanta in particular," said the 53-year-old presenter in his video.
