As of 6:00 on the 21st, there were 153 small and medium-sized reservoirs in Anhui Province whose water level exceeded the flood limit.

  Since entering Meimei (from 6:00 on the 10th to 6:00 on the 21st), the cumulative average precipitation in Anhui Province is 182 mm. Among them, on the 20th, heavy rain fell from the south of Hefei in Anhui Province to heavy rain, and torrential rains in parts of southern Anhui and Dabie mountains.

  The early warning shows that there is a high possibility of mountain flood disasters in Huoshan County, Jinzhai County, Shucheng County, Anqing City and Yuexi County from 20:20 on the 21st to 20:00 on the 21st (red warning); Jin'an District, Lu'an City , Yu'an District, Qianshan County and Taihu County of Anqing City are more likely to have flood disasters (orange warning). The above areas need to strengthen monitoring of mountain flood disasters, timely release early warning information, and organize the masses to transfer risks in advance to ensure the safety of the people's lives.

  It is reported that, due to the continuous rainfall in the past few days, as of 6:00 on the 21st, the total storage capacity of large reservoirs in Anhui Province was 5.306 billion cubic meters, which was 20% more than the same period of the previous year. At the same time, Anhui Province has 153 reservoirs whose water level exceeds the flood limit, including 5 medium-sized reservoirs and 148 small reservoirs, which are being discharged according to regulations.
