Guest of Europe 1, Sunday evening, actress Marina Foïs reacted to the rules laid down for the shooting of films in Covid-19 time. Script rewriting, changes of plan, kisses in the cinema ... The actress deplores the difficulties in obtaining concrete answers.

"I am very annoyed if the insurers rewrite the scenarios", laughs Marina Foïs, in reaction to the guide to the recommendations of the Health and Hygiene Committee for cinema production. Invited to Europe 1 on Sunday, the actress shared the difficulties of filming Covid-19 in time, while measures such as rewriting the scripts and changing plans to comply with sanitary rules were enacted.

"I will not accept to do my job worse than before"

"We are not above the law, but what is doable?" Asked Marina Foïs. "I agree to self-confine myself, not to hang out at parties, and not to lick the metro seats (…) and I will repeat very well with my mask while respecting the safety distances", she continues .

However, "it is very difficult to have theoretical answers about a changing reality", says Marina Foïs again, referring to the cinema kiss, re-authorized on condition that the two actors are tested.

"I am going to be of good will, but I will not accept to do my job worse than before", abounds Marina Foïs. "If these standards prevent us from turning, invent a partial unemployment which allows our technicians not to starve to death", abounds the one who is also a director. "That we can hold on until we can make good films and regain creative freedom".

"There are a lot of films that I want to go to see"

On the eve of an important day for the sector, Marina Foïs knows what she will do on Monday. "Go to the movies," she replied without the slightest hesitation. Indeed, cinemas reopen their doors after more than three months of closure due to coronavirus, which had never happened in the history of the country. Forty films will be showing, half of which have come out. "There are a lot of films that I want to go to see," she continues, evoking in particular the good wife, or even Blessed.
