Prince Charles and Camilla have returned to their royal duties after several weeks of confinement in their Scottish home in Birkhall. On Tuesday, they visited medical staff at the Royal County Gloucestershire Hospital.

They were able to thank warmly, but with respect for social distancing, about twenty caregivers including volunteers, clinicians and doctors gathered on the lawn of the establishment.

Work to be done

As a reminder, Prince Charles had contracted the coronavirus in March, but had very mild symptoms. At the start of the week, the United Kingdom began its deconfinement, authorizing the opening of certain non-essential businesses after having observed a fall of 20% of the GDP during the month of April.

Now the program for the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall promises to be busy. Already this week, official visits have multiplied, crowned on June 18 by the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Call of General de Gaulle to which Emmanuel Macron went.
