We will remember from Edem Kossi Koudagba his qualities as a surface fox. Revealed in 2017, where he finished top scorer in the 2nd division championship, Kossi repeated in the first division in 2018 and 2019.

Champion in 2019, with the Kozah Drivers' Sports Association, he is called up to the national team by coach Claude Le Roy, against Algeria, in the CAN 2019 qualifier.

But it was within the local Hawks that he stood out, actively participating in the first qualification of Togo for the CHAN, African Nations Championship.

"Kossi has brought a lot," says Jean-Paul Abalo Dosseh, coach of the local Sparrowhawks.  By scoring the goal at Lomé, we remember very well, it was he who delivered the decisive ball, who unlocked the situation ... He is a player you can count on. Normally, Kossi had to participate in CHAN without problem! But unfortunately, today we lost it  . ”

The emotion is lively within the large Togolese football family, especially within its club ASCK, which mourns a promising player, but with fragile health. In September 2019, Edem Kossi Koudagba had failed for medical reasons to be recruited by the Sports Union of Tataouine in Tunisia.
