On the basis of the original epidemic prevention management, strengthen the frequency of disinfection of the rider’s meal box and increase the frequency of spot checks for wearing masks.
According to Meituan, users can view health and safety information such as the body temperature of merchants in Meituan APP and Meituan takeaway APP, as well as information on rider body temperature and disinfection of delivery boxes, and place orders with peace of mind. In the upgraded version of the APP, users will be able to gradually check the nucleic acid detection status of merchants and riders. Related functions are under urgent development and are expected to be fully launched in Beijing next week.
At the same time, in order to enhance the safety of users to take meals, Meituan takeaway upgrades contactless delivery. Riders place products at user-specified locations to reduce face-to-face contact; continue to increase the number of smart food cabinets in Beijing, especially in dense office spaces, office buildings and other areas To reduce the chance of personnel contact.

Meituan grocery shopping has increased the purchase volume of daily necessities such as vegetables, meat, poultry, eggs, fruits, etc. to three or four times daily, and replenishment multiple times a day to ensure the supply of ingredients in the Beijing market.
