 Once entered the intensive care unit

  Old man Han Tianzhi is a geologist and astrogeodynamicist, and one of the pioneers of the astronomical geodesy discipline in my country. According to reports, Han Tianzhi was born in Haitan Village, Xiangshan County, Zhejiang Province in 1923. He was admitted to the former Central Surveying and Mapping School in October 1943 and studied in the Department of Geodesy. In September 1957, the Geodesy Group of the Institute of Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences moved to Wuhan and was converted into the Institute of Surveying and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. As a researcher and director of the office, Han Tianzhi has been responsible for astronomical geodesy. Although the old man retired in 1986, he was rehired and worked until 2005.

  Han Tianzhi has lived and worked in Wuhan for more than 60 years. He was diagnosed as a new coronavirus pneumonia in early February of this year and once entered the intensive care unit for treatment. After treatment, Han Tianzhi recovered and was discharged in April this year.

  The old man Han Tianzhi told the reporter of Beiqing Daily that after returning home, he mainly recuperates. When he is free, he reads books and chats on WeChat. According to the caregiver who took care of Han Tianzhi, the old man is in better health after coming back. As he said in the article, the appetite is very good, and there is no delay in eating three meals a day. In most cases, a large bowl can be eaten for one meal. The old man basically gets up at 6 o'clock in the morning and rests at about 9 o'clock in the evening. During the day, the old man still insists on reading, and we will also let him guarantee a rest."
