The National Health and Health Commission put forward guidance

Masks may not be worn in workplaces in low-risk areas

A few days ago, the National Health and Health Commission released the “Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of the Normalization of New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic in Key Populations of Key Units in Key Places in Summer in Low-risk Areas” (Revised Version) (hereinafter referred to as the “Guide”). Guidance on how to protect employees of enterprises.

The "Guide" requires enterprises to make good reserves of anti-epidemic materials such as masks, hand sanitizers and disinfectants, formulate emergency work plans, implement unit responsibility, and strengthen personnel health training. Establish a staff health monitoring system and register staff health status daily, and seek medical attention in a timely manner if suspicious symptoms occur.

No temperature test is required for visitors and staff entering the enterprise. Strengthen the ventilation in the office area, indoor public activity area and employee dormitory area of the enterprise.

Enterprise public toilets should be equipped with sufficient hand sanitizer to ensure the normal operation of water supply facilities such as faucets; when conditions permit, quick-drying hand disinfectants or inductive hand disinfection equipment can be provided at elevator entrances and front desks. Food and other raw materials are purchased from regular channels to ensure traceable sources. The canteen adopts divided meals and cross-peak dining. Workers in job positions do not need to wear masks when ventilating and maintaining a distance of more than 1 meter from others.

As for how to protect the employees after resuming work, the Guide recommends that employees conduct daily self-health monitoring. When suspicious symptoms such as fever and cough occur, they must report to the unit and seek medical treatment in a timely manner. Exercise moderately to ensure adequate sleep. Pay attention to personal hygiene, carry out hand hygiene in time, avoid touching mouth, eyes, nose with unclean hands, cover mouth and nose with tissues when sneezing or coughing, or use elbow to cover.

The "Guide" emphasizes that employees must clean their work and living places on a regular basis. The workplace may not wear masks and take meals at the wrong time and the wrong peak. When suffering from respiratory diseases, try to minimize going out. If you need to go out, you should wear a mask correctly, do hand hygiene, and reduce participation in dinners, parties and other activities. Reduce visits to closed, airless public places and crowded places. (Wei Wen)
