Parcoursup was the target of a phishing campaign. Hackers sent emails with a link to a web page that copied that of the platform dedicated to post-bac orientation, in order to steal personal connection data, reports Le Figaro .

“The [hackers] seek to impersonate the administration of the site (…): they have created a copy of the authentication page of the ministerial platform in order to mislead the victims and thus recover their identifiers connection ”, explained the team in charge of the Parcoursup site.

"Great caution" is needed

This email was sent from the address "no-reply@gestion-parcoursup.fr" before redirecting potential victims to a page whose address was "www.gestion.parcoursup.fr/xxx", which then redirected the Internet user towards the fraudulent site, which resembled in every point the real authentication page of Parcoursup. However, there was a difference in the address bar: the period had been replaced by a hyphen.

"You must always check before entering your identifiers that the URL in the address bar is always of the type 'gestion.parcoursup.fr/'," explains the team in charge of the platform, which calls for "the most great caution ”. She also advises changing your password when in doubt. The Ministry of Higher Education has indicated that the pirate site has been closed.
