After the abnormal heat in Moscow and throughout the European part of Russia, a drop in temperature will occur, forecasters say. Thursday, June 18, was the second record hot day of summer, but on Friday it is already cloudy and rains are possible.

“On Saturday, even more cloudiness and rain with thunderstorms are expected, because we will be between two anticyclones. As a result, cold air will come, and the temperature will drop. Over the weekend, +23 ° C is expected. On Monday in Moscow it is expected + 20 ... + 21 ° С. That is, the heat will subside after short-term rains, ”said Tatyana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow Meteoburo, meteorologist.

In an interview with RT, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand also noted that the weather will be hot on Friday, June 19, but no temperature is predicted above 30 ° C.

“The temperature will be above normal by about five degrees. Night temperatures are quite high + 16 ... + 18 ° С. Daytime is expected to be around + 27 ... + 29 ° C. Small, intermittent rains are also possible, ”explained Roman Villefand.

According to the meteorologist, the rains in the region will be with a thunderstorm. Then changes in air circulation will begin. In the first half of Saturday the weather will be comfortable + 26 ... + 28 ° С. The most noticeable weather changes will occur on Sunday, when +18 ... + 23 ° С is expected in the daytime.

Compared to the temperature that was recorded this week, there will be a decrease of ten degrees. According to Villefand, such a temperature background, according to climatic data, fully corresponds to the end of the second and the beginning of the third decades of June.

“Therefore, you can’t talk about cooling. This is not a cooling, this is a drop in temperature. But, of course, a drop in temperature of ten degrees will be felt. The nature of the weather will also change, ”said the meteorologist.

Sunday Night Chance of Rain. Starting June 20, the weather will be more cloudy. According to him, on June 22, the temperature background does not change significantly. Night temperatures + 8 ... + 12 ° С, daytime temperatures up to +22 ° С.

The Phobos Center notes that heat is a “good foundation” for thunderstorm activity. The atmosphere becomes unstable, and the weather can deteriorate dramatically.

On Wednesday, this happened in the east of the Central region and in the north-west of Russia, forecasters of the Phobos center report. In the Leningrad, Ivanovo, Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl regions, the heat and the sun at some point gave way to downpours with thunderstorms. In some places, the intensity of precipitation exceeded 20-30 mm in 12 hours.

It is noted that massifs of cumulonimbus clouds provoke thunderstorms, in places with hail and squally wind.

We will remind, earlier in the press service of GBU "Gormost" they recalled that Moscow fountains are not intended for swimming. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

“Fountains are a mechanical structure to improve the aesthetic perception of the environment, are not intended for swimming. The Gormost does not carry out the functions of law enforcement at the fountains of GBU, ”the press service emphasized.

In addition, the Ministry of Emergencies spoke about the rules of safe behavior on water. They recommend swimming in specially equipped places where rescuers and medical workers are on duty. The most suitable time for swimming is morning or evening, when the sun warms, but there is no risk of overheating.

The air temperature during bathing should be within 20-25 degrees, and the water temperature should be more than 15 degrees. Also before bathing, you should check the weather forecast: you can go to the pond only if there is no storm warning.

Earlier, in an interview with the Moscow 24 website, Sergei Schetinin, Honored Rescuer of Russia, an international class rescuer, told how to spend time on the beach. He recalled that in no case should you drink alcohol.

“This will aggravate the situation. A person becomes most at risk of drowning, ”said Schetinin.

The specialist noted that you should not be in the water for too long. Pay special attention to children, because they do not control the situation, the rescuer emphasized.

In addition, Schetinin recalled the importance of using a protective cream, sunglasses and a hat.
