Since the release of Attack the Block in 2011, fans of the film have been waiting for a sequel. But with the success of his star, John Boyega, who became Finn in the Star Wars franchise , director Joe Cornish focused on other projects. “We have ideas. I met John two months ago and we already had lots of ideas after the first film, unfortunately we have both been very busy since then, with different things. John Boyega, who recently stood out for his participation in the Black Lives Matter events in London, added to Twitter by sharing an article that relays the announcement of its director.

While the Star Wars trilogy in which he played is now complete and it has been confirmed that his character will not return on the big screen, John Boyega has in any case all the time necessary, and the influence it takes, to shoot whatever he wants. The project is therefore perhaps more imminent than we imagine.
