M6 broadcast Wednesday the final of the 11th season of Top Chef, the most followed cooking competition in France. After an edition of 18 episodes rich in twists and turns, there were only two left: David Gallienne and Adrien Cachot. At the end of ten hours of final testing, the name of the big winner is finally known.

Clap for the 11th season of Top Chef! While the coronavirus pandemic has somewhat disrupted the programming of the cooking competition and postponed the final, M6 aired the last episode of an edition rich in twists and turns on Wednesday evening. And the big winner of Top Chef is ... David Gallienne, who won the competition against the darling of internet users, Adrien Cachot.

First time that a candidate from Hélène Darroze's brigade wins Top Chef

After eighteen episodes and a final ten-hour test, Top Chef has its winner. The gap was tight between the two candidates. David won with 56.41% of the votes. The two finalists and their brigade chief discovered the results through interposed screens, which necessitated health conditions.

The two chefs had to compose and prepare a menu for more than one hundred Red Cross volunteers, who rated them. And it was finally David, already starred chef, at the head of the Jardin des Plumes in Giverny who convinced then that Adrien, the original of the competition, and candidate for Paul Pairet, was the favorite of internet users, who largely commented on this final on social networks. Note that this is the first time that a candidate from Hélène Darroze's brigade has won Top Chef.
