An Egyptian citizen claiming to be the “awaited Mahdi” killed a person with a white weapon after the latter ridiculed him in the Matareya region of Cairo Governorate.
Egyptian media reported today that the security services were able to arrest the perpetrator after receiving a report accusing him of assaulting a person, and he is working as a driver, using a white weapon and stabbed him several times, which led to his death at once.
According to local newspapers, it was found that the victim, who resides in the same region, is constantly mocking the perpetrator of his repeated claim to being the "awaited Mahdi".
Investigations revealed that the accused always assumes the personality of the "waiting Mahdi" and invites people to follow him, and when the victim persists in ridicule him, the accused went to the position, the place of work of the victim in front of the Matareya metro station, and in possession of a white weapon and killed him.
In turn, the Egyptian authorities took legal measures against him.
