“We saw during the crisis and containment that pollution had dropped, the economy had slowed down and CO2 emissions had dropped. We do not want to resume as before, so we decided to target one of the most polluting sectors. The construction industry is responsible for 39% of greenhouse gas emissions, including 8% for the production of concrete, ”decrypts Mélanie, one of the demonstrators.
