[Explanation] This is a flat area in Dafengshan Fengxi block, Mangya City, Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is covered with Glauber's salt, the wind is raging, and there is no breath of life. Therefore, it is dubbed the surface of the moon, and it is also the most difficult natural condition in Qinghai Oilfield. One of the mining fields. Xiong Haiming, an oil production worker, lived in a flat house not far from Fengping 1 well. Xiong Haiming, 48, is an oil extraction worker in the No. 4 Oil Production Plant. He has been in this desolate place for more than a year. In fact, as early as 2018, he volunteered to go to another equally remote oil well to be a "keeper".

I remember going up on March 25th. When I returned, Fengping 1 (the name of the well) was in March of the second year.
[Commentary] "Two flats and one well" is Xiong Haiming's first impression of Shoujing's life. The two oil wells in the Dafengshan Fengxi block are self-spraying wells and have to be patrolled four or five times a day to prevent crude oil from overflowing. Since the field base of the No. 4 Oil Production Plant-Nanyishan Oil Production Area is 30 kilometers away, the road is far away and rugged. It takes at least an hour or so to rush from the operation base to the oil well. It takes time and effort to inspect the oil transportation from the Nanyishan base, so there are well guards like Xiong Haiming.

After going up, the generator has no electricity, because I just went up, and then I didn’t take the liquefied gas, and I couldn’t eat it. After I got the generator, the electricity was unstable, so I burned water at a high altitude, and a pot of water for half a day. It won't burn. After you suddenly arrived at that place, you gnawed the steamed buns and drank the water that couldn't be boiled. It was quite uncomfortable.
[Commentary] No hydropower, no network signal, is the basic living environment for the guards here. Living in the board room at the station, Xiong Haiming has three generators to guarantee the basic power supply every day, and connects the landline signal to report production. In case of mechanical failure, repair the generator and replace the oil outlet of the oil well. Xiong Haiming took care of the work of oil extraction, driver, power generation and kitchen. Every day at 7 o'clock in the morning to report the production of the well until 11 o'clock at the end of the last inspection, his day's work is considered to be over.
[Commentary] Keeping wells in the field, there is no network signal, you can only go home once every two or three months. Xiong Haiming's two children are 12 and 3 years old this year. Two months after leaving home, neither the younger son recognizes that the person returning is the father.

[Commentary] In addition to Xiong Haiming, there are six oilers stationed alone in the fourth oil production plant in Qinghai Oilfield. They volunteered to take root in the mountains isolated from the outside world and guard the difficult but important oil wells and sites on the oil production line. In addition to doing the job on weekdays, some people like to exercise, and some people grow grass and flowers. They are like Tibetan antelopes in the plateau oil area, bringing vitality and hope to the vast mountains.
