Series for TF1, historical novel ...

"Right now I'm writing the adaptation of  Lontano which will become a series", begins the writer, about the novel published in 2015. "I'm writing a new original series, so with a lot of episodes, it is a lot of work. I'm also writing a book on the night in Tokyo, "he explains. The book should focus on contemporary underground in Japan.

"And I'm writing a huge book, a new thriller, my first historic book," he says. The plot takes place in Berlin in 1939, against a backdrop of Nazism. "I'm talking about a book that will be 800 pages. So we can say that I am not unemployed!" Laughs Jean-Christophe Grangé. He has already written the first 400 pages but considers that it is "only a third party", because to have 800 pages at the end, he writes 1,200 on the first draft. As for the broadcaster of the series he is preparing .... "it's pretty secret all that ... but overall, it's TF1", he finally admits.
