China News Network, Hangzhou, June 15 (Reporter Qian Chenfei, intern Xu Qiaochu) The reporter learned from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (hereinafter referred to as the Second Hospital of Zhejiang University) on the 15th that 13 people were transferred to Wenling, Zhejiang Province yesterday. The critically ill casualties of tank truck explosions are 68 years old, the oldest is 94 years old, and the depth of burns is more than 90%.

At 16:40 on June 13th, on the expressway near Liangshan Village, Daxi Town, Wenling City, G15 Shenhai Expressway, a tank truck exploded out of the expressway, causing the surrounding houses and factories to collapse. As of 21:10 on the evening of the 14th, a total of 13 wounded persons were transferred to the Second Hospital of Zhejiang University.

Huang Man, director of the Comprehensive ICU at the Second Hospital of Zhejiang University, said that on the 14th, the expert team has conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the patients and determined the treatment plan for the comprehensive period. The 13 wounded people all used a ventilator and performed tracheotomy or tracheal intubation. The overall situation was temporarily stable. The hospital adopted a one-person, one-strategy plan to spare no efforts to treat the wounded.

"The average age of the wounded is older, most of them have respiratory failure, shock, infection, coagulopathy, and combined organ damage, such as eyeballs, mouth, chest cavity, heart muscle, kidneys, etc. The most severely injured patients have 2 heartbeats The sudden stop was rescued, but life is still in danger at any time. This is an unprecedented challenge." Huang Man said.

"According to the pathological and physiological characteristics of the wounded after burns, the course of disease is roughly divided into four stages: shock period, infection period, repair period and rehabilitation period. Each period often overlaps with each other. The condition of the burned person is variable and the repair period is very long." Zhejiang University Han Chunmao, director of the Burns Department of the Second Hospital, said.

He introduced, "In the whole process, the chance of infection caused by large burns is very large. Most of the wounded are more than 90% of the burned area. How to use the remaining skin for skin grafting is a problem. In addition, as long as there is 1% of the wound Treatment, it is possible to give up our previous achievements. Therefore, we must not only save lives but also reduce the retention rate of wounds, and remain vigilant at all times."

In order to transfer the wounded, the Second Hospital of Zhejiang University has set up working groups for expert treatment, patient transfer, and family communication. The intensive care unit has vacated enough beds, and has completed equipment configuration and treatment planning.

The reporter was informed that on the afternoon of the 15th, the second batch of 7 critically ill wounded will be transferred to the hospital, including 5 burn wounded and 2 wounded wounded. (Finish)
