It seems that our societies have been plagued by bullying, and efforts are still not made to stop this scourge that threatens the social ladder, and may destroy the lives of many. The main problem is that those who do bullying are not aware of the magnitude and harm of what they do, and the worst is that they believe they are right, and bullying includes all forms of violence Abuse and victimization directed towards a person or group of people, and it may be physical, verbal or electronic bullying, and it may be direct or indirect, that is, by acting and doing or merely threatening certain acts or words. Unfortunately, electronic communication has facilitated bullying practices, whereby anyone with access to the Internet can infringe others by word and deed as well.
Unfortunately, many of the technical articles published on the Internet, and much of what is broadcast on TV, mock directly or indirectly on groups in society, such as taunting those who have obesity, or those with determination, or those with dark skin. Last year, one of the teachers mocked A student because of her skin color! what happens? Are we back to the era of ignorance? Have not years and centuries been enough for us to learn to tolerate ourselves as human beings, and we appreciate that this life is fleeting, and that God Almighty created us equal, and there is no preference for an Arab over my glory, except with piety and good deeds! Have we not learned yet that no one has the right to judge the shape of the other? So what about your judgment on his religion and the extent of his faith, and bidding on his relationship with God Almighty.
Social media has been buzzing in the past few days with the reasons and cursing of an artist, just because he posted his daughter's picture in a way that some people found inappropriate, and regardless of whether the image is normal or not, is it a public figure that justifies attack and bullying in this way ?! Will this bullying change the behavior of the assaulted person ?! Why not put ourselves in the shoes of others and think how we would feel if we were insulted in this way, then where are we from the words of the Lord Almighty: «If you were rude in the thick of the heart, shake out around you». (159 - Al-Imran)
Instead of benefiting from technology in learning, acquiring new skills, and a link to our wombs, it seems that some refuse to exercise their mastership in transgressing others. I hope that we will consider what all humanity is going through now, so we will tolerate and excel as we watch people we have known and lived with them leaving the ship of life within days. Unjustly against others.
