Before the team of academicians entered the village, the villagers did not understand how to scientifically plant and breed, and how to develop the industry. 【Explanation】Since 2017, the Chinese Academy of Engineering has successively launched 24 "Science and Technology Poverty Alleviation Skills Training Classes". Numerous academicians and experts represented by Zhu Youyong brought cutting-edge technology here, and taught villagers to turn winter leisure fields into efficient fields, develop winter potato cultivation, and increase income for villagers.

In order to open the market for agricultural products, the training class also set up an e-commerce course. The villagers not only learned scientific farming, but also learned live broadcast to bring goods.

[Explanation] Today, walking through Haozhiba Village, the trees are shaded, the fragrance of melons and fruits, the clean and tidy village road and the folk houses with ethnic customs cover each other, and there is a rural scenery. "Poverty alleviation through science and technology" has caused many interesting stories and changes in this Lahu cottage on the banks of the Lancang River. It is understood that the poverty rate in Zhutang Township where Haozhiba Village is located has dropped from 51.21% to 1.46%.
