In 2015, at the 39th World Heritage Committee meeting, China's "Toast Ruins" was successfully included in the "World Heritage List." The "toast site" includes the ruins of the old city of Yongshun in Hunan, the site of the Tangya city in Enshi, Hubei, and Hailongtun in Zunyi, Guizhou.

All three sites are relics of the heyday of the Chinese toast system. The old Sicheng built in Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty for five years (1135) is the seat of the governor of the Peng Tusi regime in Guxi Prefecture. It has served as a high-level chief of Yongshun Xuanwei for nearly 600 years.

Hailongtun is the military defensive castle of Guizhou Bozhou Yang Tusi. It is located on the top of the dangerous Longyan mountain. It builds a solid mountain defense system with 9 checkpoints and more than 5,000 meters of city walls.

Tangya Tusi City is the chief administrative department of the lower rank in the rank order of the chieftain, and the settlement scale is small. But its combination with two other high-level toast sites shows the complete sequence of the management level of the toast system.

These rock paintings were drawn by Luo Yue people, the ancestors of the Zhuang people in southern China who lived here from the Warring States Period to the Eastern Han Dynasty. Together with the mountains, rivers, and terraces that it depends on, it forms a cultural landscape of rock paintings in Huashan, Zuojiang.

What is more precious is that the integrity, authenticity, non-renewability and non-reproducibility of natural resources and their ecosystems are rare in the world. The World Heritage Committee also believes that Shennongjia has the most complete vertical natural band spectrum in the world, and its biodiversity makes up for the gap in the World Heritage List.

The site of the ancient city of Liangzhu was included in the "World Heritage List" in 2019. So far, the total number of Chinese World Heritage Sites has reached 55, ranking first in the world.

Data Map: Hangzhou, Zhejiang, aerial photography of Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park. On July 6, 2019, the 43rd session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan, passed a resolution to include the Chinese World Cultural Heritage nomination project "Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins" in the "World Heritage List." China News Service reporter Wang Gangshe

The Liangzhu culture from 5300 to 4300 years ago has already possessed the early state form. The ancient site of Liangzhu is a large-scale site, which is the center of power and belief in Liangzhu culture. It has a large-scale water conservancy system project. According to the research on the altar site, some experts speculate that the ancestors of Liangzhu were able to observe the solar dating more than 5000 years ago. .

In addition, a large number of exquisite jade and stone artifacts were unearthed from the site of the ancient city of Liangzhu. The emblem on the representative jade jade crock was only clearly visible after several magnifications.

In fact, world heritage is divided into 4 categories: natural heritage and cultural heritage. The World Cultural Heritage refers specifically to "tangible" cultural heritage, such as the Great Wall of China.

The selection of "World Heritage" has a set of detailed and strict standards. The "World Heritage Convention" also stipulates a series of protection obligations. If the world heritage is left unattended, it may be "delisted" from the list, that is, from the list Cancelled.

This measure also tells people to a certain extent that the precious cultural heritage and natural heritage can never be expected to be "once and for all." China is a vast country with an ancient civilization and a long history. There are countless rich cultural heritages, not only on Cultural and Natural Heritage Days, but they should also receive corresponding attention and protection. (Finish)
