Feng Caixia, 36, was promoted from an ordinary assembly line worker to a production team leader at the "Poverty Alleviation Workshop" in Lianzhang Village, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province. As a former poor household in the village, she can now earn nearly 3,000 yuan a month Wages. On June 11, the reporter came to this "poverty alleviation workshop" for a visit.
This "Poverty Alleviation Workshop" donated by an investment company in Qingyuan City mainly carries out toy processing. The products not only meet the domestic market, but also are exported to Europe and the United States. The number of recruited employees exceeds 100 at the peak, most of them are women in the village. With the help of this "hematopoietic" poverty alleviation project, these women workers also realized their dreams of employment at their doorstep.
According to data, in 2019, the per capita income of poor households with working ability in the village is 22,491.77 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42.3%. Lianzhang Village, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province has now withdrawn from the poor villages series.
