[A well-off China] The grape-shaped community of farmers in Meishan, Sichuan
"Grow the best grapes in China and live the life that people in the city yearn for." This is the slogan proposed by Guoyuan Village, Guanyin Town, Pengshan District, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, in building a high-standard and high-quality grape industry. Today, the old vision is becoming a true portrayal of life here. The Orchard Resettlement Community of Guoyuan Village is the first rural residential community constructed by the double linked project of land increase and decrease in Meishan City in 2010. It currently houses 370 rural households with more than 1,100 people. Li Yongwei, secretary of the party branch of Guoyuan Village, Guanyin Town, Pengshan District, introduced that the orchard placement community was designed with grapes as a prototype, meaning planting vines and living in a "vineyard".
