After Canal +, Europe 1, Le Nouvel Obs , Denis Olivennes takes the reins of the daily Liberation, on the occasion of his change of status to become a foundation. The 59-year-old enarch was named managing director and co-manager of the newspaper to replace Clément Delpirou, according to an internal email sent by management on Thursday 11 June.

He leaves the presidency of CMI France, the French media group of the Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky ( Elle et ses declensions, Version Femina, Télé 7 Jours, Télé 7 jeux, France dimanche et Ici Paris as well as the weekly Marianne ), a position he held since the start of 2019.

Clément Delpirou, director of Libé for two and a half years, has decided to leave the group for a "new adventure" in the real estate field. Denis Olivennes has scheduled a first internal speech at 2:30 p.m.
