Édouard Glissant (1928-2011), novelist, poet and Martinican philosopher, is particularly famous for his West Indian Speech in 1981 and for having won the Renaudot Prize with La Lézarde in 1958.

He was also a finalist for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1992 (lost to a voice) and redefined the notion of "  creolization  " and developed the concepts of "  antillanity  ", "  everyone  " and "  Relation  " on which he returns to this archive.

- An interview : The Festival of independent bookstores was to coincide with World Book and Copyright Day on April 23, it will finally take place this Saturday, June 13 in the 420 French, Belgian, Luxembourg and Swiss Francophone bookstores participating. During the French-speaking Catalan feast of Sant Jordi , the Feast of the independent bookstore highlights writings for 21 years, by offering readers an original book, In more ways than one , which deals with book culture, "  and particularly on the titles, the words of writers and the imagination  ”. Marie-Rose Guarniéri, president of the Verbs association which organizes the event and bookseller in Paris, tells us about this event.

The column " C'est la classe " with Marjorie Bertin on learning French at a distance through CEAS (Center for Studies and Social Action) in Brittany. Since the start of confinement, 110 learners of around fifty different nationalities have continued to learn French virtually thanks to 37 volunteer trainers from CEAS du Morbihan. A dozen volunteers also continue while being confined to their country of origin. Back on a unique experience for them.
