Forecasters reported an imminent cooling in Moscow. Tatyana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow weather bureau, told RT that the hot weather will last in Moscow until Friday.

“But on the twelfth of a cold atmospheric front will come to Moscow. In the morning, the air will have time to warm up to +27 ° C. But then there will be heavy rain showers with thunderstorms and the advection of cold air will begin. As a result, on Saturday the temperature will become much lower, ”she explained.

So, in the coming weekend at night, + 14 ... + 16 ° С is expected, and during the daytime no more than +20 ° С. Nevertheless, according to the weather forecaster, the weather will be comfortable: "The sun will be bright, you can sunbathe and work at a comfortable temperature."

In an interview with RT, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand noted that on Saturday June 13, the temperature throughout the country will drop by about ten degrees compared to the one that is currently observed.

“The weather was very warm in the Northwestern Federal District, the day after tomorrow it was frozen in the Murmansk Region, the night was up to -1 ° С,” the meteorologist said.

Villefand explained to RT that on Friday a front would pass through the center of the European part of Russia, which would bring rains and thunderstorms.

“On Saturday, we will return to our normal values, which are typical for mid-June. Even one or two degrees, the temperature will be lower. That is, there will be a noticeable decrease, ”said the supervisor of the Hydrometeorological Center.

Nevertheless, Villefand noted that in some southern regions of the country, in the Central Black Earth regions, in the Southern Federal District, hot weather will prevail. In the Voronezh, Belgorod region and Krasnodar Territory + 35 ... + 37 ° С. In the Astrakhan region in the near future is expected to +40 ° C.

Specialists of the Phobos Center note that almost the entire European territory of Russia since the beginning of the week, the temperature regime has been kept significantly above the climatic norm.

“Even in Komi and Pomerania the day before it was above + 31 °, these are record numbers. And in Naryan-Mar, on the shores of the Arctic Ocean, a maximum of the 21st century was recorded: + 24.2 °, ”according to weather forecasters.

Experts note that the high temperature held in the country all week provoked intensification of "upward currents", because of which small but powerful "thunderstorm cells" began to appear.

“On the Russian plain, the invasion of the cold front begins from the Arctic Ocean. The cloud ridge associated with it extends from the mouth of the Ob and Yenisei to the coast of the Baltic Sea. The most intense precipitation - more than half the monthly norm - is expected in the Arkhangelsk region, ”the center’s specialists said.

According to weather forecasters, already on Saturday in most of the Center and the North-West, the air temperature will not exceed +20 ° С. At the same time, in regions that fall between cold and warm fronts, showers, thunderstorms and a squally wind are expected.

Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, told RT that in the summer of 2020 in Russia there will be mostly changeable weather: the heat will alternate with rain and cold.

“Variability will be characteristic of the whole summer,” the meteorologist noted.

Recall that at the beginning of the week Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that since June 9, the capital’s self-isolation regime and access control regime, introduced due to the spread of coronavirus infection, has been canceled.

“For several weeks now - slowly but surely - the pandemic is on the decline. The number of new cases of infection is reduced, more people are discharged from hospitals than are again admitted to beds. All this allows step by step to pass to normal life, ”the mayor emphasized.

He also announced the lifting of restrictions on the work of a number of enterprises. So, catering establishments will open in Moscow in two stages: from June 16, summer verandas will open, and from June 23 - cafes and restaurants.

The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova emphasized that, despite the phased removal of restrictions, the mask regimen, handwashing and disinfection of surfaces in the premises should be preserved and “strictly observed”.

“We remove the restrictions, but the rules for a safe life along with the coronavirus remain and they must be followed,” the chief sanitary doctor of Russia emphasized.
