Contradictions between the USA and the European Union continue to grow. The Americans intend to expand sanctions against the Russian-German project "Nord Stream - 2". The reason is allegedly because, according to US senators, the project "threatens US national security" and "energy independence of Ukraine and Europe." This, of course, is arrogance - on behalf of other countries to decide what exactly threatens their security, but the USA is already used to this arrogance and is not even surprised.

In principle, from the US point of view, any independent countries and projects competing with their companies threaten American dominance, as well as Washington’s political and economic dictatorship. Consequently, the United States will fight with them, and for destruction, as they used to.

Americans do not hesitate to call a spade a spade, this is the metaphysical essence of what is happening in the world. It is the owner who has the ability to give names - this has been known since time immemorial.

The one who is in a subordinate position is forced to accept both the names and the rules of the game, which are appointed by the owner. He does not have the luxury of acting solely on his own interests. The subordinate is forced to maintain a balance, take into account the introductory, agree with the owner and other subordinates.

That is why for several decades now we have been observing, it would seem, boorish statements by the USA about what Europe and other satellite countries should do. And in Washington, no one sees rudeness or disrespect in this. The United States is really used to the fact that it is their prerogative to decide the fate of colleagues and partners. They want it to be better. And they really consider themselves the best on the planet.

The modern world remains colonial. Little has changed in the last 150-200 years. The metropolis, which has absolute sovereignty, has all the necessary tools to solve its own issues. Conditional colonies can only obey. Of course, the possibility of lingering resistance through court institutions and other international organizations remains, by the way, many of which are again funded by the United States, even if Washington is not officially a member of them. But this concerns only unprincipled issues.

And, as in the century before last, there are many Kiplings singing “the burden of a white man”, only now it is called “democratic values”.

The story of Nord Stream 2 is not about gas and not about our bilateral economic relations with Europe. This is a story about ours and about their sovereignty, about apparent or imaginary independence from America.

Let's be honest: the 1993 Yeltsin Constitution, in which the entire history of Russia was absolutely clearly and openly spelled out the primacy of international law (read - American law), is a colonial Constitution. It's a shame, but it's a fact.

Is it possible to act actively if the hands are tied? You can act only fully free, breaking the ropes and throwing off the chain. That is why the vote on July 1 is so important. This is a story about the acquisition by our country of the real outlines of the once declared social state. This is a story about our bold self-identification as a country, nation, Russian civilization. This is a story about our actual independence and the strengthening of sovereignty.

What will happen to SP-2? You don’t have to be a seer or a seasoned gas specialist to understand: none of our opponents is going to give up or stop halfway. This play was not started in order to play one act and stop. They will do everything to bring the play to the final. Their goal is to prevent the project from being completed, to prevent it from earning at full power. All possible levers and tools will be involved. So far, they are economic, but the military cannot be excluded.

The good news is that it is in this round of confrontation with the United States that not only our interests, but also the economies of Europe and Germany in particular, are already seriously affected.

Germany, anyway, the locomotive of the EU. And if Germany is seriously injured, this cannot but ultimately affect European politics as a whole. Therefore, even now we are observing an old picture as the world: there would be no happiness, but misfortune would help.

Any difficulties are including an impulse to unite against common threats. And the threat in this case is those who are used to commanding and have already begun to lose touch with the reality of the United States. It’s good that we, with Germany and ultimately with most of the European Union, are now in the same boat. Passengers added. Welcome aboard!
