With the help of an old book from the 16th century that Peder receives in Christmas gift from his wife Lena, played by Helen Sjöholm, Peder learns how to manage his dreams and a whole new world opens up for him.

During the days, Peder lives as usual, but at night he secretly meets Hanna in her dreams. They are seen in dreamlike places and live out their fantasies and their longing. But when the boundary between dream and reality is blurred, complications arise.

- Not two free and free people are seen, they are actually happily married both. You can love more than one person, but you cannot live with more than one. It gets too complicated, says Peter Dalle, who stands for director, script and who also plays one of the main roles.

"Warm, obsessed love"

Vanna Rosenberg performs the role of Hanna and describes a love story with multiple layers.

- In terms of thinking you get to travel, but you also get insights and issues that are very relevant and exciting, says Vanna Rosenberg to the Culture News.

Mikael Persbrandt, who performs the role of Peder, describes the relationship with Hanna as "a warm, possessed love". Although Peder loves his wife and has no plans to leave her, the situation soon develops into something he did not expect.

- Life, or the dreams in this case, get away with me so that I lose control, says Mikael Persbrandt.

Some scenes left

Before the corona pandemic hit, the film team had to record more than most of the film. Now two weeks of filming remain abroad, and after that the film is scheduled to premiere during Christmas 2020.

- I think this will be a welcome escapism at Christmas time, says Mikael Persbrandt.
