We are talking today (June 10, 2020) about the trial of Lamine Diack, former boss of world athletics. Judged since the beginning of the week in Paris for corruption, he spoke today before the judges.

Publicity

Lamine Diack, accused of having set up a whole system of corruption, including in particular his son who is also accused, but ignores the judicial summons from Senegal where he is. In the background, there is large-scale doping in Russia. We will see in this program if we can talk about institutional doping. In short, doping that Lamine Diack would have helped to cover in exchange for large sums of money. The case even has ramifications in Senegal since part of this money would have been used to finance the electoral campaign of the opposition to beat President Abdoulaye Wade in 2012.
