A big sigh of relief. Head underwater after the announcement of the cancellation of the 2020 edition due to the coronavirus epidemic, the teams of the Vieilles Charrues find a little smile. At the end of April, the organizers announced that they were already preparing the programming for the next edition "in order to be able to welcome in 2021 the maximum number of artists initially announced this year".

And good news, Céline Dion will be there, announced the festival team on Wednesday. The Quebec star, who had been forced to postpone the start of his European tour, will perform on July 15, 2021 on the prairie of Kerampuilh in Carhaix.

The festival specifies that tickets purchased for the concert planned for this summer will remain valid next year. The tickets of people who wanted to be reimbursed will also be sold on June 24 at 10 a.m. on the festival website. All the seats for Céline Dion's concert at the Vieilles Charrues were snapped up in just nine minutes on October 9. The festival will communicate on the rest of its programming for the 2021 edition this fall.
