Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the famous wizard on screen, wanted to react to his words and apologize to transgender women.

“Transgender women are women. (…) Any statement to the contrary goes against their identity and dignity and against all the advice given by professional health care associations who have much more expertise on this subject than Jo (JK Rowling ) or me, ”wrote the 30-year-old actor for the Trevor Project, an American association that combats suicide among LGBT + youth.

The actor revealed by the saga explained that he was trying to learn to be a "best ally" for transgender people. "To everyone who now thinks that their experience with the books (Harry Potter) has been tarnished or diminished, I am deeply sorry for the pain these comments have caused you," he said.
