  At 13 o'clock on June 7, an old man in Laoweitun, Huangla Village, Zhongdu Town, Luzhai County, fell into a sudden illness and urgently needed medical treatment. 120 local emergency personnel were blocked by the flood during the transfer, and the ambulance could not drive, so they could only ask the firefighters for assistance.

  At about 13:50, the firefighters arrived at the scene and another ambulance was on the shore ready to respond. After understanding the situation, the firemen immediately assembled rubber boats, carried rescue equipment, and went to the rescue.

  While driving in a rubber boat, firefighters found that the nearby farmland and rivers were all submerged by water, unable to distinguish the direction. Firefighters can only drive carefully, and go forward while exploring the road. After more than half an hour of hard work, they successfully transported the injured elderly to the corresponding ambulance and sent them to the hospital for treatment.

  On the night of the 7th, the water level of the Luoqing River in Luzhai County continued to rise, and there was severe waterlogging in the Jiangbei District of Chengbei near the Luoqing River. The first floor of some residential buildings was flooded, the water in the low-lying areas reached 3 meters, and many people were trapped. From 19:30 on the 7th to 2 o'clock on the 8th, firefighters evacuated 13 people to a safe area.

  At 9 o'clock on the 8th, the construction site of a community in Feilu Avenue, Luzhai County was besieged by the flood. The workers needed to be transferred because they lacked living supplies and lacked food. In the end, the firefighters transferred three workers to a safe area, and another three were transferred to the floor room.

  The Guangxi Meteorological Department forecast that there will be heavy rainfall in the northeast of Guangxi during the day on the 8th, and the rain will increase in the evening on the 8th, and the scope of the torrential rain will expand.
